In Jon Krakauer's Into the Wild, what is one conflict that occurs in the story and explain why that is a conflict?

  22. In Jon Krakauer's into the wild there are many conflicts but one of the major ones is man vs. nature. He is competing with nature the whole time. From finding food to, crossing the river, to finding shelter, and cooking food and, preserving food. He is constantly competing with nature. he has to overcome it or he will shurly die.he was abel to overcome natures obsticles for a while but eventually it took his life.

  26. The main conflict in Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer is Chris McCandless versus Society. This is displayed where Chris is upset with the overall state of society (ex. his father, who kept a secret wife) and the fact that people sit around, and just take life blow by blow without actually experiencing life to the fullest. Instead they are immersed in what they think is the real world.
